Zone Racquetball
Racquetball ---> how do you strike the ball he just zig-zags, somewhere near the front wall.?
you're standing in the middle of racquetball court ... the ball just before hitting the wall and its coming to you and your area is in full power. how (or if on the front wall) should you hit the ball so he just zig zag some cases near the front wall and dies right there. - Thanks
It is doubtful that this would be your best move, but if it is ... Say it is knocking on your forehand, and you are right handed. To achieve the move you have described, you want to hit (a) the wall on your left, (2) the wall to your right, (3) of the front. You'll need to experiment a bit to get the right feel for the angle ... type pool etc.. If you hit it right, there will be little movement forwards and backwards on the ball and it hit the front wall and about to die. As you play tougher opponents, the plan will be less useful (at least in the way you describe it), because when your opponent sees the zig-zag once, they will immediately start running forward, because they know that the ball is going to die somewhere toward the front. I hit this shot, but it often is a backhand when I'm up against the left wall, cutting off a shot that password. Good luck!
