I want to get a great college. Except that I have poor grades in class. How will this affect my chances?
Hello, my name is Vikram Sethia. I am from New Delhi, I really want to get into the Ivy League colleges. Here are some details of my CV-2250 Sat Reasoning-800-M, 880-W, 650-CR 2300 - SAT Math Topics 2C-800-750 Physics, Chemistry TOEFL iBT-750-112 score 10th CBSE 91.6% Other than that, I am a nationalist badminton, golf and table tennis. I won several prizes in debate and Quizzing. I was selected for the nationals of CBSE Science Exhibition. I have my own cartoon in the local newspaper. I won a writing prize at the national level, and now I'm working on my own novel. Unfortunately, my notes 11 and 12 were rather poor. I have only 71% in 11 and 57% in PCM. My overall aggregate was a modest 68%, 55% in PCM. In my half yearlies 12, I had only 61% in PCM (65% overall.) I even missed the physical. What are my chances. Please help?
Unfortunately you have no chance. Grades are the number one admission FACOR ivy because they are the most important predictor of college performance. good scores alone - and your calculations over CR is below average anyway - can not find anyone in. There are a ton of competition in India and they all ivies know your system well, those who have obtained very good grades.
