PLEASE answer! sprained knee! Help?
Good, August 18 or 19 I was playing tennis and injured my knee. I went in and told me I just had the fluid and is better on his own. He never did, he sent me for x-rays. They said I had a joint e-fusion, and it will get better soon. Then, I have never been sent to go to an orthopedic surgeon. He wanted me to get an MRI because he thought I tore something. I went back today for results and he told me that I a REALLY bad sprain (one of the worst he has seen) and I'm not aloud to do any exercise at all (which is difficult for me because I did six dance classes, two days of tennis, run 1-2 miles every day, and training.) So I was wondering how long it will take to heal. He said that if it is not better in three weeks, he must run more tests: (So please help me.
Because of the severity of the dislocation Is it could take about six weeks to heal, but I recommend calling her back office to seek further clarification on the timetable for healing of sprain. If they can not do that, then I recommend getting another opinion, preferably someone who does not share the same office the one you are now going to see what they think might happen.
