What is the face of sports teams in Pittsburgh and the color black and gold?
The three teams Pittsburgh Steelers Pirates, Penguins. all have the same set of black and gold (yellow?) I was wondering if the colors represent something about the city or something?
Pirates and the Steelers still had those colors ... in the late 70's, the pirates won the World Series and the Steelers were in the superbowl. in honor these teams, the Penguins have changed the colors black and gold for the rest of this season. but everyone liked it, so they stuck with black and gold. now Are they only city where all the professional teams have the same colors. I think it's pretty cool.
